Mandy is a craft artist based in the LA area, specially dedicated to creating Buddhist/spiritual art inspired by love, compassion, wisdom, and nature. She received her Ph.D. in Religious Studies and her research primarily focuses on Tangut (Xixia) Buddhism, especially its art and history preserved in Dunhuang. As a Buddhist practitioner, she started her spiritual path in Buddhism in 2011, and she studied and practiced in both Chinese and Tibetan Buddhist traditions. She also has been working and volunteering for different Buddhist organizations and publications since then. She joined the Communication Team of the Sachen Foundation in 2018 and has been working on website design, developing marketing materials, and translation.
