The Bodhicharyavatara: a jewel of Mahayana Buddhism.

H.H. the 42nd Sakya Trizin guides us through the final chapters of this text, beginning with the establishment of a concentrated and compassionate mind, continuing with the perfection of wisdom, and finally sealing the path through the dedication of merit.

🪷

The perfection of Meditation and Altruism: Cultivate samadhi by freeing the mind from dependency. Shantideva teaches the deepest practice of love—equating and exchanging oneself with others—to help us dissolve ego-clinging and transform our connection to the world.

🪷

The Perfection of Wisdom: The view of emptiness and dependent arising as definitive tools for eradicating the root of suffering and ignorance.

🪷

Dedication: A universal prayer for the end of suffering for all sentient beings. In this masterful conclusion, Shantideva transforms the merit accumulated through his work into a cause for global awakening.

A practical, profound, and transformative manual with valuable keys that will guide you through every stage of the bodhisattva path with wisdom and genuine compassion.

About Shantideva…

Trained at the renowned University of Nalanda, they attained high spiritual realizations and, under the guidance of Mañjushri, composed their masterpiece: The Practice of the Bodhisattva.

Our Teacher: H.H. the 42nd Sakya Trizin

H.H. the 42nd Sakya Trizin, former head of the Sakya Tradition and one of the great masters of Tibetan Buddhism, will teach the key elements of the Bodhisattva philosophy and practice in this course—combining the precision of classical treatises with the depth of personal experience, giving us access to teachings of incalculable value. Their transmission of the Dharma with humility, warmth, and naturalness has earned the affection and admiration of students and teachers alike.

This is a wonderful opportunity to receive the invaluable guidance of a great master—to immerse ourselves in the Dharma, receive blessings, and take an evolutionary leap in practice and spiritual development.

“If I understand anything about compassion and the Bodhisattva path, it is entirely due to the text of Shantideva.”
