Sakya Research Centre
The SRC is a web application for Tibetan historical and literary research. It is designed as an open online platform and reference system and is based on a corpus of machine-readable digital texts in Tibetan that are embedded in an interlinked, relational database. Data is entered and processed by a group of Tibetan-language scholars and Western Tibetologists. The database additionally includes standard works of Tibetan historiographical literature, as well as numerous genealogies, hagiographies, teaching records and religious histories related especially to the Sakya sect of Tibetan Buddhism. A Sakya Digital Library
Following the advice of His Holiness the 41st Sakya Trizin, the Ven. Khenchen Appey Rinpoche (1927-2010) stressed the importance of collecting, digitizing and publishing important texts to ensure an authentic and complete transmission of the Dharma for future generations. Recovering and publishing many volumes of important scriptures from the Sakya tradition, Rinpoche has made immeasurable contributions to the Dharma in general and to the Sakya tradition in particular. Khyentse Vision Project | Translating the Works of Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo
Khyentse Vision Project translates and publishes the core writings of the nineteenth-century scholar and treasure revealer Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo. His two major collections are his Collected Works (Kabum) and Seven Transmissions (Kabab Dun)—totaling over 30,000 Tibetan pages.
